Goding Generations and Family Tree

A little bit of information on Harriet Ann Albeury nee Goding and her family.  There has been a lot of research completed and published by Ancestry.com users about the Cripps family (more of them below), but not so much on the Godings.

Starting point.
Harriet Ann Goding
b 1838 St George in the East London (if anyone wants to get a copy of the birth certificate see Oct Nov Dec Vol 2 pg 71 line 95)
d 1888 Melbourne
m 28 Mar 1860
f Joseph Goding
m Abigail Cripps

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4 Apr 1782 Daniel Cripps married Elizabeth Fidler Lambourn Berkshire
There is a lot of information for the Cripps and Fidler family.  I may copy it and put it up here, but you can go to Ancestry.com and cut out the middle man...

5 Feb 1797 Abigail Cripps bapt Lambourn Berkshire
f Daniel Cripps
m Eliz

24 Oct 1819 Joseph Goding m Abigail Cripps Englefield Berkshire

1841 Census Everard (?) St, St George in the East, Tower Hamlets
Joseph Goding  40 yrs Labourer born Middlesex
Mary Goding 45 yrs Wife born Middlesex
Charles Goding 15 yrs Labourer born Middlesex
Emma Goding 11 yrs born Middlesex
Harriet Goding 2 yrs born Middlesex
Hannah Goding 11 months born Middlesex

Yes its Mary Goding and not Abigail, but the evidence is good that Abigail is Mary and vice versa.

1844 Death Recorded Joseph Goding
St George in the East
July/Aug/Sept 1844 Vol 2 Page 63 Line 73

1851 Census 17 Barnes (?) St, St George in the East, Tower Hamlets
Abigail Goding 54 yrs Head Widow Dairy Storeman born Limehouse Berkshire
Charlotte Goding 23 yrs Dau Jacket maker born Enfield
Emma Stillen 20 yrs Dau Jacket maker born St George in the East
Louis Goding 10 yrs Son Scholar born St George in the East

I think that Lambourn has been incorrectly transcribed as Limehouse and Enfield is incorrectly recorded Englefield.

1851 Census
Charles Goding 25 yrs Head Dairyman born St George in the East
Sarah Goding 24 yrs Wife born Whitechapel
Sarah Goding 8 mths Dau born St George in the East

1857 Assisted Immigration Index
Harriet Goding aged 18 to Melbourne July 1857 on the Persia (Book 12, Page 372).

Lots of questions from this.  I couldn't find any of these Godings in the 1861 census or in the assisted/ unassisted immigration indexes.  Plus Harriet is not with the family for the 1851 census (and I couldn't find her elsewhere). Hannah is not identified in the 1851 census.

Notes
East Ilsley is about 12 kms south east from Wantage
Chieveley is about 6kms south of East Ilsley
Lambourn is about 10kms south west from Wantage
Chisledon is about 14ms west of Lambourn
Englefield is about 20ms east of Chieveley
Joseph Goding has proved elusive (no one on Ancestry.com that I could see has found much information.  It would be worth researching Goodings, Goddings etc in the same district as the Cripps.
